LAST ENGLISH PROJECT YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!

English Poetry Project XD

Here is a starling

A Place Where the Starling Sings

It’s a place where the starling sings
In the shades of verdant willows
A place where the sun,
Casts its brilliant rays
On the vast sea of greens

It’s a place where the air is cold and fresh
Carrying the whispers of the wind
A place where the stream,
Flows heavenly still
Washing away the stings of despair

It’s a place where peace is the reward
For a day’s hard work and strife
A place where your heart,
Breaks its rusty chain
In the wild, where true freedom is found

The Perfect Note Of A Violin

Poem Writing In Style Of
Michael Ondaatje
(Inspired by "Sweet Like A Crow)

(P.S. the poem would be better if my parents can stop telling me to go to sleep at 9 p.m......)

The Perfect Note Of A Violin

Your voice is like the snow
from the top of Rocky Mountain, clean and pure
like a silver wind bell swinging in the early spring wind
like a violin hitting a high pitched note
like a Facebook message, like greetings from a long lost friend, like a smile on a little boy’s face.

A breeze on a summer’s evening
a rain, washing off the heat of the day
an ocean wider than my eyes can see.
Like Taylor Swift singing “Speak Now”
like a shade under a willow tree
like the sweet crispy donuts from Play Land
a nightingale teaching her nestlings to sing,
waking me up at 4 a.m.

Like the Polaris shining in the starry night
like matches lighted in a dark room
a famous piece performed by a band, like a whisper recognized by a snow-white owl, like a walk on the ice capes in the North Pole,
the boat drifting on the calm cerulean sea,
a peacock showing off its flamboyant tail,
the fireflies in a tranquil country field.

Like a solider returning home
like faded pictures in an old album
like a dream coming true,
like a child looking for an answer that
he will never find, like the extra chocolate toppings on an ice-cream ,
like 8 As on my report card
like 2 ways at a crossroad
like the sound I heard when you say my name
and a story that will never end.

A Half-Burnt Picture

Poem Writing In Style Of
William Carlos Williams
(Inspired by "The Red Wheelbarrow")

A Half-Burnt Picture

So much depends
upon

A half-burnt
picture

Soaked with tear
drops

Beside the rusty
suitcase

Life Is Beautiful

Through the window
I see you waiting
You are smiling
Cause I'm coming
Your eyes are a story
An ocean of memories
Pictures of faces and places
And all of the things
That make us feel like we have it all

All of the times
That make us realize
We have it all
We have it all

Life is beautiful
Life is beautiful

Living and dying
Laughing or crying
If we have the whole world or have nothing
I know there are long nights
But we'll make it
With every sunrise comes a new light
And all of the things
That make us feel like we have it all

All of the times
That make us realize
We have it all
We have it all

Life is beautiful
Life is beautiful
Life is beautiful

A father's love
A wedding dance
New Year's dreams
A toast with friends
A soldier coming home from war
The faith the hope of so much more
A brand new life, a mother's prayer
Shooting stars, ocean air
A lover's kiss, and hard goodbyes
Fireworks, Christmas lights

These are things that make us feel alive
These are the times that make us realize

Life is beautiful

Starting Over

It's a new day, a new beginning. Take a new step, away from the past. Today is the day to make a difference, and break the chain that hold you back. Starting over.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

"We've been through hell together! We spent four years, FOUR YEARS fighting that virus, and then another four fighting each other! It was chaos! But you all know what we're up against! And I want you to know, it's not just about power! It's about giving us the hope to rebuild, to reclaim the world we lost!"

--- Dreyfus

Merry Christmas !!!

It's not what's under the Christmas tree that matters, it's who's around it.
